The 2016 Gravitational Wave Physics and Astronomy Workshop (GWPAW) will be hosted by MIT at the Cape Cod Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts, USA. The workshop will take place June 15-18, 2016 (Wednesday through noon on Saturday).
This workshop follows the one hosted in Osaka, Japan in June 2015 and traces back to the series of workshops started in the 90's as the Gravitational Wave Data Analysis Workshop (GWDAW) with emphasis in searches for gravitational waves (GWs). GWPAW has come to encompass the full spectrum of science derived from gravitational-wave observations, including modeling of their sources as well as connecting the electromagnetic, neutrino and gravitational-wave skies.
Registration and abstract submission is now open. The deadline for early registration is Monday, May 16, 2016. We have extended the abstract submission deadline to also Monday May 16, 2016.
The special room rate at the hotel has been extended until Saturday, May 28th.
